These are the names of Old Shebbearians\u00a0who gave their lives in the name of freedom.<\/p>\n

We publish them by request, as a reminder of their sacrifice.<\/p>\n

Not all old boys are able to visit the school\u00a0to see the permanent Rolls of Honour.<\/p>\n

The lists are disproportionately long for what was then a small,\u00a0remote boarding school in North Devon with a pacifist tradition;\u00a048 names for the World War One, 35 for World War Two.\u00a0One name appears for 1965.<\/p>\n
